Narritive Evaluation

I believe this page is based on opinionated thoughts. I dont think this is a good website because I dont see very many facts, it doesnt provide good information that can be used in a paper. There is also nobody that can be reached and the author is not listed. I never saw any dates which shows it proably is not an up to date website.

What is ICANN?

ICANN stands for Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers. ICANN is a internationally organized, non-profit corporation that has responsibility for Internet Protocol.

What is the Domain Name Server?

The Domain Name Server (DNS) helps people find there way around the internet. IP Adressess are hard to remember so instead of using the long string of numbers like 192.0.34.163 they use the domain name which is www.icann.org

What is ICANNS role??

ICANN is responsible for coordinating the management of the technical elements of the DNS to ensure universal resolvability so that all users of the Internet can find all valid addresses.
